1 / How do QR Found tokens work?

You tell us your phone number when ordering. We create your custom token. You attach it to your stuff. If you lose your stuff, and someone finds it, they can scan your token with any smartphone. The smartphone will then send a text to your phone number letting you know your stuff has been found.

2 / Do you share my address or other details?

No, we will only share your phone number so they can get your stuff back to you. The text will only include your first name, not your address.

3 / Is it compatible with all smartphones?

4 / What can I attach it to?

Some examples of things we've attached tokens to are:

- Bags/ luggage

- Keys

- Dogs

- Anything else you would miss if you lost it!

5 / Can I customise the message sent when my lost item is found?

Not yet, but if this is something you would be interested in, please let us know by contacting support! We are always open to new ideas.

6 / Is there a subscription fee or additional cost associated with using the service?

No, once you buy your token(s), they're yours forever.

7 / Is there a GPS tracking feature included with the QR Found to?

No, to help keep costs low and for there to be no battery requirement unfortunately there is no GPS tracking.

8 / Is the QR Found token waterproof or weather-resistant?

The tokens are pretty durable and have been tested in several environments. We would recommend purchasing a wooden token if you plan to get your stuff wet - they tend to last a little longer!

9 / Is my personal information safe when using the QR Found token?

Yes, we only ever use your phone number and first name to create the token. The person who finds your token won't know who you are, just how to contact you!

10 / Can I use the QR code key finder internationally?

Yes, you can although please bear in mind that when you are messaging the owner/finder, SMS charges will apply and these can often be higher when abroad.
